We headed straight from the Soapbox User Summit to Geneva, Switzerland to facilitate the Internet Society’s first-ever Collaborative Leadership Exchange, an interactive community discussion which took place at the start of Global INET 2012.
Aspiration’s ongoing collaboration with PICnet continued unabated at the 2012 Soapbox User Summit in Washington DC, where we’ll helped steer the festivities and let users drive the dialog.
Our inner crypto geek is hyperventilating as we hang in New York City to help run the Wall Street Journal’s first-ever Data Transparency Weekend, a codeathon where 120 privacy and anonymity geeks will prototype and code tools to help give online users greater control over their online identity and activity.
We’re excited for CiviCon 2012 - the annual conference for CiviCRM developers, implementers, administrators and users – happening in San Francisco Bay Area on April 2nd. Aspiration will be there facilitating a community discussion and being a big CiviFan throughout.
They’ll have great speakers and breakout sessions highlighting real-world examples of nonprofits growing and sustaining relationships using CiviCRM. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, meet other users and developers, make valuable connections, and get involved in the community.
ArtSpark and Aspiration hosted a day for artists from the Bay Area and Albuquerque to come together and share stories about their use of social media and online technologies in their work.
With both individual artists and arts organizations present, a wide variety of experiences, successes and obstacles were discussed as participants dove deeper into what has and hasn't worked for their purposes.
