Central Valley Listening Tour

In addition to surveys and calls, we jumped into the Aspiration van to drive through the Valley and get to know people face-to-face.

Starting in February, we went to Sacramento, Modesto, Fresno, and Visalia to learn how we can best support the unique online needs of nonprofits in the Valley. Read the blog about the Fresno Listening Tour.

We had a blast getting to know people! Special thanks to those who gave us their time and input during the Listening Tour.

The feedback helps us to shape the agendas for the Central Valley trainings.

Gunner and the Aspiration team have been an incredible inspiration and resource for us at OpenNews. From facilitating at events like MozFest, we learned about inclusive, engaging, collaborative event design that has shaped our own event SRCCON and influenced the community we serve in journalism.
