Misty Avila joins Aspiration as our eAdvocacy Program Coordinator. Misty will be taking our eAdvocacy Capacity Building Program into California's Central Valley. This will include leading trainings, developing materials and serving as the network hub for those looking for Aspiration's eAdvocacy work in the Central Valley.
Misty joins the team with extensive experience doing trainings in the public health nonprofit world with her previous work with CANFIT around adolescent nutrition and fitness. There, Misty worked in Online Communications as well as leading trainings around a variety of public health topics in California. Originally from Sacramento, CA and having experience with many Central Valley cities through her work and life, Misty is the perfect person to shepherd Aspiration's eAdvocacy program into the Central Valley.
