We’re excited to return to Modesto, California on October 25 from 1-5pm for a no cost training, “Building Online Communications for Grassroots Nonprofits”, as part of the Central Valley eAdvocacy Capacity Building Program.
The training will include two interactive sessions to help you build out your online strategy efforts at your organization.
Coordinating Your Online Channels:
Do you have a process for what types of content you publish online? In this hands on exercise, participants will create their own draft publishing matrix to coordinate their online channels and online content. After this session, participants will have a baseline publishing matrix that they can apply in their communications efforts immediately following the training.
Starting Your Nonprofit on Social Media:
Get a better understanding of how to start using social media for your organization. Many nonprofits are overwhelmed by the range of tools they can use online for communication. We’ll help participants make sense of major tools like Facebook and look at how they differ from using tools like blogs or sending organizational emails.
The Central Valley eAdvocacy Program is generously funded by the California Consumer Protection Foundation. Special Thanks to the El Concilio for providing the event space.
We look forward to seeing you there!
