Event Date(s):
August 14, 2014
  • Do you run into annoying formatting problems when trying to put together your email newsletter in a blasting tool?
  • Are you confused about why the white space is showing up next to your images, making things look off kilter, and want to get rid of it?
  • When you see the HTML behind your email newsletter, does it look likegibberish?
  • Do you find that these same things happen when you try putting content in your website CMS?

Join us for a Maker Party to build your HTML skills and improve your online publishing

This live, collaborative and hands-on training is targeted at nonprofit staff and volunteers who are interested in a better understanding of how to craft effective HTML for Email Newsletters and familiarize yourself with how HTML works.

We'll provide refreshments and a fun atmosphere to learn in, all you need to bring is a willingness to try. Prior HTML experience is not required. If you have a laptop, that will be helpful, but we have a few on hand for you to use. So, register and join us.

The discussion will be lead by participants' needs, especially focusing on learning and incorporating basic HTML into your online publishing work.

The training will be conversational and feature opportunities to get your questions answered about email newsletter construction. Participants are encouraged to bring their real-world needs and challenges to the discussion.
