After an informative Listening Tour with nonprofits in Los Angeles, we are southbound on Highway 5 for our spring Training Roadshow! The first week of May, we will be joining nonprofits and grassroots organizers in LA for participatory workshops and technology skill shares. We have a few community-driven events on our calendar:
- Social Justice Technology Skillshare on Wednesday, May 6 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm at Mercado La Paloma. This day-long gathering is designed to grow networks and support knowledge sharing in a peer-to-peer format. We invite anyone supporting social justice efforts in LA to attend.
- Talleres de Comunicaciones para Organizadores Comunitarios (Communications Workshops for Organizers) on Friday, May 8 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Co-organized by and hosted at IDEPSCA, this event will contain two Spanish-language workshops. Spread the word, and contact us with any questions.
