In parallel with our in-person Dev Summit on 15-17 November, we hosted a virtual ephemeral Dev Summit session designed for those not able to join in person, as well as folks who wanted to participate in both.
The focus of the virtual session was on skill-sharing, storytelling, and peer knowledge sharing, and as always, we built the agenda based on input from those participating.
The virtual session was an ephemeral event, meaning no persistent notes were taken and no participant list was shared. You had to be there or remain unaware :)
Co-creating safe and accessible spaces
We requested all those joining to abide by our Participation Guidelines and Event Expectations for sharing and exploration at Aspiration events. All participants were expected to help create the most inclusive and safe space possible by honoring the Participation Guidelines and Event Expectations.
Aspiration strives to host accessible events that maximize the opportunity of all individuals to participate and engage wholly in all spaces and activities, in full respect of cultural and linguistic identities, care needs, and abilities.
We welcome suggestions and ideas for how we can create even more inclusive and accessible spaces at our Aspiration events. Share your thoughts with us.
